L’Hôtel made its debut with a sold out season for Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2021, brought to life by a stellar international and local cast. This was followed up with a celebrated run at the Sydney Opera House in late 2022. The performance was met with rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
Following a couple of years in hibernation, L’Hôtel is returning to Sydney for a three month season in 2025 in a brand new theatre, yet to be announced.
L’Hôtel was co-created by Craig Ilott and Stuart Couzens (Alfred’s founder), whose combined artistry create experiential worlds that fuse hospitality, entertainment and artistic pursuit. The team at Alfred are the producers of L’Hôtel and manage all set design, lighting design, costume design and technical production management.
