Experimental Shopping
Breaking away from the basics, the H&M Style Lab gave shoppers the chance to get experimental. For one night only, the label’s flagship stores in Sydney and Melbourne were transformed into creative laboratories for customers to embroid, embellish and print H&M pieces with personalised details.
In collaboration with Elle, the event focused on finding unique style. There were panel discussions involving fashion influencers like Steph Claire Smith and Oracle Fox’s Amanda Shadforth to get you thinking.
Lab stations manned by crafty creatives including prop designer and stylist Kitiya Palaskas helped with the customising.
The overall experience was more than just the clothing details. Nitro bars and test tube drinks added to the atmosphere, as the massive stores became playgrounds for all types of experimentation.
