Double Rainbouu

“Never have I experienced such a peaceful and tranquil presentation, in all the fashion shows I have attended.”  Caroline Tran, Fashion Editor at ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar

Double Rainbouu brought a dose of zen to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia when they debuted their ‘United Colours of Rainbouu’ resort 2020 collection.

Alfred’s design abstraction turned the runway concept on its head, with the show inviting guests to take a journey of exploration throughout the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Sydney.

Playing into the brand’s design paradigm of travel, groups were led throughout the gardens by their very own tour guide who escorted them through the serene inner-city gardens.

Posed amongst the ferns and koi ponds, models sat, lay and stood draped in Macramé and shibori accessories, leisurely linen, and series signature Double Rainbouu prints that paired perfectly with the surrounding nature.

“Who would have thought that two chill dudes making Hawaiian shirts would become the buzziest brand at Sydney Fashion Week?”  Steff Yotka, Vogue

“Double Rainbouu Brought A Dose Of Zen To Australian Fashion Week.”  Nikolina Skoric, GQ

“Called ‘United Colours of Rainbouu’, it was easily one of the most creative, striking and—true to form for the label—fun presentations Fashion Week has seen.”   Sammy Preston, Urban List

“The who’s who of Sydney’s fashion scene were present, as guests were guided on an immersive journey through the majestic Chinese Gardens of Friendship, revelling in Double Rainbouu’s latest collection of beachwear/vacation styles intended for everyday life.”  Josh Bozin, Man Of Style
