Bazaar in Bloom

“One of the fashion sphere’s most revered events, the annual BAZAAR in Bloom soiree is held in support of the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation; with this year’s event garnering much needed funds for the hospital’s Perinatal Mental Health division.”  The Journal

Under a canopy of floating floral installations, Australia’s biggest fashion names and high-profile guests came together for the annual Harper’s BAZAAR, BAZAAR in Bloom fundraising event for the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation.

When it comes to Sydney’s black-tie dinners, this one is at the height of design. Think MET Gala-level glamour and extravagance without the costume theme. A collaboration with floral artist Hermetica resulted in the strong sculptural flower aesthetic that beautifully branded the evening with a unique sense of style.

This feature was used across everything from the promotional photoshoots to the design of the Ivy Ballroom, where the event was hosted.

With fashion the major focal point, there was a 28-look runway show featuring avant-garde pieces and couture gowns, all created especially for the event by designers Bianca Spender, Albus Lumen, Alice McCall and Dion Lee.

Guests also heard empowering stories and speeches and took part in a luxury auction that led to over $650,000 being raised for the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation.
